Learn how to stop negative thinking and create positive / empowering thoughts

We all deal with negative thinking. Sometimes those thoughts serve a purpose and prepare us for things that we need to deal with or be aware of. But what about the negative thought patterns that get in the way and prevent us from having the peace, success, and love that we want and deserve? You can change those negative thoughts with a few simple steps...


Negative thinking is a part of our makeup so it stands to reason that changing our thought patterns will not happen overnight. And, science has proven that trying to make big changes without success only gives way to more negativity. The subconscious mind is resistant to change and feeds on our failures. By taking small steps that you succeed at, you can teach your subconscious mind to allow and accept the changes and in return create more positive thinking.

Steps For Success


1) Choose one negative thought pattern that you would like to change

2) Write a more positive statement to replace the negative thought

3) Decide on a small goal to start with that will help you replace your current negative thought pattern. Some examples of small goals: I will read my positive statement out loud 3x day. I will say,"Stop" (out loud or in my mind), every time the negative thought comes to mind for the next hour and read my more positive statement. I will write my positive statement every morning when I wake up and every night before I go to sleep for the next week.

4) Continue creating small positive goals that you can succeed at doing.

5) Congratulate yourself every time you succeed and be patient with yourself when you don't. Negative patterns are difficult to break, but you can do it!
